Building Faith

God's purpose for us is to grow in the knowledge of Him, rooted and grounded in His love, trusting in His power, following His guidance and extending His love.

This is a daily process, one that almost seems to start over again every day. Jesus said that we will always have trouble in this world, and that each day has enough trouble of its own. He knows we need Him each and every day. It is we who forget.

Therefore, we must be determined to find quiet time alone every day with our Lord in the Bible and prayer, and to stay connected together in weekly fellowship. In fact, we cannot make it otherwise. Jesus said that apart from Him we can do nothing – but He promises that if we abide in Him, He will abide in us … and with God, all things are possible.
